Reconstructive surgery

Reconstructive surgery aims to repair the function and /or appearance of a specific body part. Specific cases include reconstruction after tumor resection (breast), congenital deformities (cleft lip), traumatic injuries, lacerations, burns, among others.
Dr. Hernández performs microvascular techniques to reconstruct complicated cases which might otherwise be unfeasible to repair. Cases like reimplantation of limbs or fingers, body parts, and microvascular flaps to repair specific cases.
